One Tree Hill is a popular American television series which began airing in North America on the WB network in late September 2003. Now the series is aired by The CW and is in its fifth season that will feature 22 total episodes.

The teen TV series profiles the lives and events surrounding the residents of a small North Carolina town, Tree Hill, and in particular the lives of two half-brothers, Lucas and Nathan, who grew up and live in the town. The brothers’ relationship is complex and strained and the show features the conflicts between them while attending One Tree High School together.

Lucas, played by actor Chad Michael Murray, and Nathan, played by actor James Lafferty, share the same father (Dan Scott played by actor Paul Johansson) who chose to raise Nathan closely with his mother Deb (Barbara Alyn Woods) who his father met while at college. Lucas on the other hand was raised by his mother, Karen (Moira Kelly), who his father met and got pregnant while in high school, and left to pursue a college basketball scholarship. Lucas’s uncle, Keith Scott (Craig Sheffer), brother to his father Dan, also played a large role in raising Lucas.
